Hunter Ohmann (she/her) - Nature Nerd

Hunter is an Environmental Science student at the University of South Carolina. She has a love for environmental justice and science communication, and hopes to educate her community on environmental causes. She’s a firm believer in meeting people where they’re at and aims to show that small, doable actions can add up to lasting change.

Hunter founded Rewild 2gether with a simple goal: to celebrate changemakers and inspire others to follow their lead by taking small, daily actions that, together, can create a greener future. She’s passionate about creating resources and sparking ideas that help people protect and restore the places we all call home.

You can find Hunter dreaming up her next tattoo, photographing wildlife, playing one of her many musical instruments, reading about Greek lore or land conservation, or writing.

Hunter is the lead strategist, science communicator, and creative content producer of Rewild 2gether. You can reach her here or on our social media.

Matt Ohmann (he/him) - Space Shaper

Matt is a visual artist and registered landscape architect. His work is vibrantly colored, abstractly composed, and densely layered with personal symbolism.

Working across a variety of mediums, Matt embraces a stream-of-consciousness approach that blurs the line between impulse and intention. Seeking a balance between expression and communication, each piece becomes a catalyst for introspective exploration, inviting the viewer to linger while taking in the work.

As a child and young adult, Matt was a Boy Scout and eventually became an Eagle Scout. Through this, he learned the importance of taking care of our planet through outdoor ethics, hands-on conservation work, and comprehensive educational programs. He has a deep understanding of how all living things are interconnected, and humans have a responsibility to be good stewards of the environment for current and future generations.

Matt contributes to Rewild 2gether through design assistance, creative collaboration, and feedback.

Jaime Robinson (she/her) - Surf Seeker

Jaime is a big lover of surfing, one of her favorite things in the world. Her connection to the ocean is seen in her strong passion for keeping it clean, not only for the people who enjoy it, but so the animals who live there can, too!

For this reason, Jaime is strongly opposed to littering. Along with her goal of keeping our planet litter-free, she is also enthusiastic about educating others on animals that aren’t so loved, such as snakes and turkey vultures.

On any given day, you might find her drinking a latte, painting, baking, hiking a local trail, reading a psychological thriller, or hanging out with her husband. She’s also been known to save worms from hot pavement, proof that her care for the natural world extends to even the smallest creatures, who often don’t get enough praise for all their hard work.

Jaime contributes to Rewild 2gether by sharing her passion for ocean conservation and anti-litter awareness, and her art skills. She brings a unique voice to conversations about misunderstood animals, helping others see their value in ecosystems.

Lori Lennon (she/her) - Graphics Guru

Initially working in advertising and marketing in the corporate world, Lori went back to school to pursue a graphic design degree. She now works as a freelance graphic designer and enjoys working with small business clients, helping them build and shape their brand story.

As a child, Lori's family spent summers camping, fishing, and exploring the various states they lived in the South, West, and Midwest. As a child, she learned to be outdoors and "make do with what you have," and that experience continues with her today. She enjoys learning about nature and incorporating small changes into our daily lives to make a positive impact on the world.

Lori enjoys thrift shopping (especially clothes), gardening (currently learning to save seeds and start a pollinator garden), photography (especially nature cyanotypes), and crocheting. She is a wife and dog-mom, and enjoys traveling and hiking with her family.

Alexia Ortiz (she/her)- Aquatic Aficionado

Alexia earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina, where she developed a strong foundation in aquaculture. Her work has focused on cultivating fish from the egg stage through adulthood, a practice that plays a critical role in supporting healthy ecosystems and sustainable food systems.

She is passionate about repopulating our waters and protecting aquatic life, combining her scientific expertise with her love for the ocean. Her work allows for safeguarding the future of our waterways and the communities that depend on them.

You can find Alexia trying out fun foods with her husband, or adding another fish tattoo to her collection!

Alexia will be contributing to Rewild 2gether through sharing her expertise in marine science and aquaculture, and idea creation for content regarding oceans, waterways, and sustainable food systems.

Amanda Capriato (she/her) - Curiosity Curator

Amanda is a former elementary educator and current child therapist with a love for all things climate and social justice. She believes that knowledge is power, and the more we understand the world around us, the better we can take care of it for ourselves and for future generations.

Amanda enjoys educating and learning alongside youth and families about how our everyday actions impact the Earth around us. This was a core element of her pedagogy as a teacher, and she incorporated many environmental justice project-based learning opportunities in her curriculum, including creating a compost bin and research projects about ocean conservation. Amanda enjoys hands-on projects and reading picture books with children to encourage their love of the Earth.

Amanda contributes to Rewild 2gether by suggesting educational materials, book recommendations, and activities that cultivate curiosity about the environment in young learners.

Casey Wattinne (she/her) - Backyard Botanist

Casey is an artist and landscape designer. As one half of Wattinne Visual, she thrives in collaboration and conveying kitschy ideas.

In her art, she brings a playful, spacey twist to the classic pinup. Pinups have traditionally shown a fun, carefree, and even devious side of femininity, something that she believes has been lost over time and desperately needs to make a return. For her, they’re about female empowerment.

Through her work, she revives the fun, fearless, and unapologetic spirit of women who deserve to be highlighted and celebrated in all their forms. When not creating art or dancing to live music, you can find her gardening, reading, or being loud for all to hear.

“I wrote the story myself. It’s about a girl who lost her reputation and never missed it.”—Mae West

Casey contributes to Rewild 2gether through her creativity and design sense, and her experience in gardening and sustainable living.

Eric Wattinne (he/him) - Radical Renderer

Eric earned dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Painting and Illustration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, focusing on painting, illustration, design, and digital media to bring the multi-faceted imagery of his mind’s eye to life.

After watching a live artist during college, Eric realized that art wasn’t only his passion in life, but that it would soon become his career and calling.

Since then, he has performed live painting at concerts, developing ongoing series like Rorschach, Gestalt & Experience, and cultivating his alter ego, The False Profit. It’s a persona that can only be described as an artistic need to build, destroy, and create through performance and visual art.

He creates and sells his art, and you can find him at shows he posts on social media. He performs in and around North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Eric contributes to Rewild 2gether by utilizing his art to encourage activism. His other work grounds him in the practical side of water and land stewardship.
