Rewild 2gether exists to make environmental action accessible, creative, and community-driven.
I believe that the small steps you take today can ripple outward into lasting change.
By educating the public, uplifting changemakers, and inspiring daily action, I want to help people protect and restore the planet in ways that feel meaningful and doable.
Values
Action, every day
Climate change is happening right in front of us, and human actions play a huge role. I firmly believe that the best way to get people involved is to meet they where they’re at, not to convince them to give up all of their favorite things. I’m not about extremes. I’m a “do what you can” person, and I extend that grace to others. Every choice you make matters, no matter how small, and small steps add up to big change.
Uplifting changemakers
Each month, I want to bring attention to an organization making a measurable impact for the planet. By shining a light on them, I hope to connect you to ways you can support, learn from, and join their work directly.
Justice for people and the planet
A healthy planet needs healthy, thriving communities. Environmental challenges don’t affect everyone equally, and I believe real solutions must address those inequities head-on.
Education for all
I believe in science, and I believe that knowledge fuels action. I plan to share clear, practical, and completely free resources so that everyone, no matter their age, background, or location, has the tools to make a difference.
Creativity as a catalyst
Art can reach hearts where data can’t. I want to work with artists and creators whose work sparks ideas, opens minds, and invites more people into doing good for our planet.
Community connection
Change happens faster when we all commit together. Whether you join a cleanup, start a neighborhood project, or share what you’ve learned, your actions can inspire others. We need to welcome people from all backgrounds, because the planet needs all of us. Mother Nature needs every voice, every skill set, and every action for good.
Changemaker of the Month
Each month a nonprofit doing the right thing for our planet will be featured, from habitat restoration to climate advocacy and environmental education.
This month’s changemaker is Catawba Riverkeeper.
Catawba Riverkeeper is an organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, and restore the waterways of the Catawba-Wateree River basin for all people through utilizing education, advocacy, and engagement.
We bike, hike, and walk along our waterways, and while they provide beauty for us, they unfortunately become inundated with trash. The Catawba Riverkeeper encourages the cleanup and conservation of our waterways.
